Description

• Stay updated with emerging trends in landscape architecture, climate-responsive design, and sustainable practices.
• Maintain organized digital files, layers, and naming conventions according to project protocols.
• Prepare zoning diagrams, functional layouts, and site planning alternatives.
• Conduct comprehensive site analysis including environmental, climatic, topographical, soil, and drainage studies.
• Develop high-quality 3D models to explore spatial configurations, materiality, and landscape character.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and training workshops.
• Translate high-level design direction from senior staff into refined conceptual drawings.
• Draft accurate and organized CAD drawings such as plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and external specialists to coordinate design information.
• Support the preparation of materials for project presentations, client meetings, and design reviews.
• Ensure all drawings meet office drafting standards, accuracy, and graphic quality expectations.
• Help maintain internal libraries of materials, planting databases, and design templates.
• Incorporate feedback from internal and external reviews into revised design packages.
• Support creative brainstorming sessions by producing hand sketches, quick 3D massing, and visual ideation.
• Support preparation of tender documentation, bill of quantities (BOQs), and specification notes.
• Produce photorealistic or stylistic renderings using rendering software to communicate design intent.
• Assist in preparing detailed design drawings, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, and landscape details.
• Create diagrams (circulation, grading, planting, phasing), exploded axonometrics, and illustrative plans.
• Coordinate with senior landscape architects to ensure drawing accuracy, consistency, and project standards.
• Analyze local vegetation, landscape character, and contextual elements to inform design decisions.
• Conduct self-checks and cross-checks on drawings before final submission.
• Improve proficiency in advanced design software and workflow techniques.
• Assist in the development of early conceptual ideas, design themes, and landscape strategies.
• Compile case studies, benchmark examples, and material research to support design proposals.
• Enhance knowledge of plant species, horticulture, soil conditions, and ecological design strategies.
• Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in site visits to document existing conditions through measurements, photographs, and sketches.
• Prepare visually appealing client presentation decks, boards, and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation.
• SketchUp or Rhino – 3D modelling, conceptual exploration, and design refinement
• Revit (Basic BIM skills) – Coordination and modelling
• Excellent visualization and graphic communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Adobe InDesign – Presentation layouts, reports, and design booklets
• AutoCAD – Advanced drafting, precision layouts, and documentation
• Microsoft Office – PowerPoint (presentations), Excel (BOQs), Word (reports)
• Adobe Illustrator – Diagrams, vector graphics, drawing annotations
• Lumion / Enscape – Rendering, animations, and visualization
• 2-6 years of professional experience in landscape design or related fields.
• Understanding of landscape materials, construction basics, planting design, and spatial design principles.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing conceptual clarity, graphics, and technical competence.
• Strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and spatial understanding.
• Adobe Photoshop – Renderings, post-production, visual enhancements
• Reliable team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in fast-paced project environments.
• ArcGIS / QGIS – Mapping, landscape analysis, context studies
• Problem-solving mindset with readiness to explore new tools and methods.
• Ability to work under supervision while also taking ownership of assigned tasks.
