The Financial Services Enterprise Architect defines and governs holistic application, business, data, integration, and cloud architectures for the Financial Services Line of Business. The role involves overseeing technology selection, conducting reviews of major initiatives, promoting best practices, and maintaining the target architecture in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Success in this role requires a strategic vision to drive transformation and innovation within the enterprise architecture framework.
Participate in Enterprise Architecture governance activities.
Introduce new technologies/solutions and conduct Proof of Concepts/Proof of Technology.
Identify, assess, and recommend new products and technologies as part of RFIs/RFPs.
Perform research on emerging technologies to address business capability gaps.
Assess application portfolio for consolidation, retirement, and upgrades.
Define solution approaches in response to demands and perform impact analysis.
Create Business Architecture/Capability Models and perform maturity assessments.
Design the target Enterprise Architecture in the context of Business & IT strategy for Financial Services Transformation.

Experience in carrying out architecture assessments and providing recommendations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, including 5+ years within financial services, preferably in banking.
Good understanding across architecture domains: Business, Data, Application, and Technology Architecture.
Certification in at least one Enterprise Architecture Framework (e.g., TOGAF).
Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal communications and visualizations.
Broad enterprise-wide view of business, appreciation for strategy, processes, and governance.
Demonstrated experience with banking reference frameworks (e.g., BIAN), and familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Toolsets (preferably LeanIX).
