The Senior Director of Asset Management is a strategic and operational leader who acts as the owner’s representative across a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily, single‑family rentals, RV resorts, hospitality communities, vacation rentals, and other commercial real estate. This hands‑on leader directly manages a substantial portfolio while overseeing a team of portfolio managers and analysts to drive optimal performance. The role is accountable for executing and exceeding each asset’s strategic business and financial plan. The Senior Director partners closely with internal departments such as risk & underwriting, finance, accounting, development, and construction to ensure full‑lifecycle success and value creation.
In addition to managing assets, the Senior Director holds third‑party property managers accountable, analyzes monthly performance, and implements corrective actions so that all assets consistently exceed investor expectations. The position requires strong leadership to guide the asset management team and a results‑driven mindset to achieve DLP’s mission of building prosperity through real estate.
Ideal candidates bring over a decade of real‑estate asset‑management experience across multiple asset classes, a proven record of measurable value creation, and demonstrated ability to scale high‑performing teams of asset managers, analysts, and property managers. They possess deep expertise in operations, financial modeling, budgeting, capital planning, and asset lifecycle management, and are comfortable traveling regularly to on‑site assets.
