Description
We are recruiting for a Lead Planner on a contract basis. This role operates on a deliverables‑based engagement with autonomy over methods, planning approach, and execution strategy. You will provide independent, outcome‑based portfolio planning and delivery leadership for a multi‑project engineering services framework, defining and maintaining integrated portfolio plans and ensuring realistic, executable delivery strategies across EPCM and capital projects.
- Develop and maintain portfolio-level integrated schedules across all project phases.
- Establish planning standards, baselines, and change control processes.
- Produce EPCM and execution schedules in Primavera P6.
- Perform project levelling, smoothing, and resource optimisation across the portfolio.
- Lead portfolio resource planning using MPP or equivalent tools.
- Provide strategic planning input, scenario modelling, and what‑if analysis.
- Act as senior planning interface to the client.
- Independently challenge delivery assumptions, sequencing, and resourcing.
- Provide assurance on schedule realism, critical path, and execution risk.
