Description

The warehouse associate reads and processes customer orders, assembles orders for pallet or shelf placement, and sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code. They complete all inventory paperwork, label orders and back stock clearly, participate in cycle counting, load and unload customer vehicles with signed paperwork, and process incoming freight promptly. The role also involves operating equipment such as forklifts, inspecting equipment, recording product movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the warehouse clean and organized, entering records into the computer, and performing other assigned duties.

• Read and process customer, work, and shipping orders; assemble orders for pallet or shelf placement
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code
• Complete inventory paperwork: shipping/receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check‑off, UPS documentation
• Ensure accurate store inventory at all times and label orders and backstock clearly
• Participate in cycle counting program
• Load and unload customer vehicles, obtain signed paperwork after loading
• Process incoming freight trucks promptly
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely; inspect equipment regularly
• Record quantities received and distributed; enter records into computer
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma, be able to read and write English, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one), excellent organizational skills, basic mathematical and computer abilities, and knowledge of safety measures are required. The ability to manually lift 50 lb regularly and up to 100 lb, as well as to work Saturdays on a five‑day work week, is also necessary.
