The role is responsible for managing sales of Ashirvad’s products within a designated geographic area, ensuring consistent and profitable growth in revenue. The incumbent will set objectives, devise strategies and create action plans to maximise both short‑term and long‑term sales and earnings, while strengthening Ashirvad’s market presence.
Key functions include accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue, and collaborating with the AGM/RGM to develop sales strategies that increase market share across all product lines. The manager monitors area sales, analyses variances and implements targeted action plans to drive revenue growth for each product category.
In sales execution, the manager conducts activities for major accounts, negotiates pricing and discounts in consultation with senior leadership, and oversees distributor performance on sales, delivery, and query resolution. Responsibilities also cover recommending new distributor appointments, maintaining the distributor management system, tracking account activity and closing deals to meet targets, as well as developing primary and secondary channel sales.
The role supports regional branding by providing inputs to the branding execution manager and implementing area‑specific trade‑promotion, branding and marketing initiatives to maximise product visibility. It also leads influencer engagement programmes, such as sales promotions and meetings with key plumbers, architects and consultants.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have 3‑7 years of experience in sales and marketing. Required skills include analytical problem‑solving, strong oral and written communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, relationship building, influencing and negotiation abilities, and fluency in English and the local language.
