Oversee and manage corporate filings
Manage filing system for documentation and correspondence related to legal department tasks and initiatives
Monitor expiration dates for company and tradesmen licenses, non-disclosure agreements, and other agreements
Assist IT with respect to tools and systems implemented to assist with managing tasks undertaken by the solar legal team and in support of legal initiatives
Maintain centralized repositories for templates, clause libraries, contracts, policies, licenses, and other records. Ensure content is current, accurate and compliant with policy and procedures.
Assist the solar legal team in scheduling meetings, monitoring calendars, preparing documents for execution and delivery, and other general administrative tasks
Act as liaison between legal and business functions to understand needs related to requested legal support and assist the legal department in completing department initiatives and tasks according to priority
Serve as the intake point for new legal matters, claims and notices, and questions from solar project teams, human resources and other departments. Collect and summarize critical information pertaining to legal matters, tasks, and requests handled by the legal department. Allocate matters to team members as appropriate. Track the progress of each matter through execution
Assist with applications and related documents for new tradesmen’s licenses and/or renewals as needed
Process invoices from outside counsel, consultants, and other third parties in a timely manner and monitor payment status
Monitor and assist with registration of continuing legal education credits for the solar legal team
Process expenses of the solar legal team
Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing legal notices, correspondence, and various legal documents as requested by the solar legal team
