What you would be doing

  • Responsible for achieving own performance targets.
  • This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.
  • Responsibility for wearing all PPE, for own health and safety and that of others and the public.
  • Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant.
  • Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment.
  • Fault finding, identification of life expired equipment.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
  • Responsible for the management and authorisation of high/low-risk maintenance activity on the FM estate using the Amey Safety Rules as the Authorised/Responsible persons (AP/RP). Training will be provided.
  • Mains water supply repairs, to minimise wastage and continually improve processes.

  • Experience in operating light plant.
  • Good all-round project management knowledge.
  • NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is required (we may consider level 2).
  • Experience in a commercial environment.
  • Full driving licence is Essential.
  • Ability to work alone and use initiative.
  • Legionella Control (L8).
