Build and maintain key interface relationships with Clients, site teams and Whittens leadership team
Work amongst engaged leaders and collaborative project teams
Oversee and determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
Delivery of projects by building high performing safe and sustainable teams to achieve project objectives
Identify and upskill emerging leaders and facilitate development plans
Organise, plan and manage direct site labour and ensure effective workforce planning
Ensure strict compliance with contract notices and management of subcontractors in strict compliance with agreements
Prepare and submit notifications to the Client / Principal Contractor as required
Monitor changes to designs, assessing effects on costs, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs in consultation with the Commercial team

Superior time and priority management skills
Visible leadership
At least 10 years+ Project Management experience with metro projects ranging from $15-80M in size
Tertiary Qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management or similar - Preferred
Confidence in managing a range of different relationships throughout the business and on site
Strong Commercial Acumen
Experience working for a Civil Contractor and managing a self-perform direct workforce as well as managing subcontractors
