- The Position:** As a Groundskeeper IV, you will perform highly complex (senior-level) grounds, irrigation and building maintenance work. Work involves caring for and maintaining the appearance of grounds and exterior areas of state buildings, and maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, tools, equipment, and supplies. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

- Knowledge of building grounds, maintenance and landscaping tools and equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Skill in the operation of riding sweepers, motorized and gas-operated equipment.
- Three (3) years experience in professional grounds operations.
