Act as Project Director when required, providing strategic oversight and ensuring consistency across high‑risk or high‑value projects.
Role description: The Design Management Team is seeking to add multiple Design Team Leaders for several design teams within the Design and Engineering Division. Arcadis is seeking a Design Team Leader for each of our market sectors: Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil. The ideal candidate will be an employee of Arcadis and have extensive consultancy experience with architectural and engineering projects, as well as strong team management practices. Candidates should expect travel related to project work up to 20%.
Qualifications & Experience: Over 15 years of experience, including extensive consultancy on large‑scale architectural/engineering projects. Experience overseeing multiple disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) on large projects. Managed small teams (3‑5 persons) across geographies and time zones using technology. Advanced competency in business development and project planning tools, including data analysis. Arcadis Project Manager Certification (training provided if required) and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Management, or a related field.
