Warehouse Specialist

Description

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively via email and in person to address issues and support team goals.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies found during cycle counts.
• Organize parts for efficient stocking and restock production lines as needed.
• Prepare products for domestic and international shipping, including crating, shrink-wrapping, banding, and processing shipping paperwork.
• Run and manage daily reports as directed by the supervisor.
• Process warehouse parts into inventory and perform cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Assist in training new team members and support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Lean activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Count and verify shipping contents for accuracy and damage.
• Use RF scanners for order picking and kitting steel and component parts specific to jobs.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate strapping/banding equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without interpreter assistance.
• Forklift certification preferred; certification process provided.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Adapt to changing priorities and contribute positively to the work environment.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Prior warehouse receiving experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
