Effective communicator—able to convey technical concepts clearly across diverse audiences, both written and verbal
Strong grasp of coordinate systems, projections, and data transformations
Proficient in Esri ArcGIS Pro for intermediate to advanced desktop GIS tasks
Experience with GIS-CAD interoperability and data integration
Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changes in project scope, timelines, and budget—including occasional non-traditional work hours
Minimum of seven years of professional experience as a GIS Specialist or Analyst. A combination of recent advanced education (post Bachelor’s) and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of this requirement.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Bachelor’s degree or higher in GIS, geology, geomatics, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline, with proven GIS-focused coursework or training.
Deep understanding and application of core GIS principles, spatial analysis, and geospatial workflows
