The assembler is responsible for installing and terminating electrical devices such as disconnects, lights, panel boards, transformers, battery chargers, lighting contactors, and VFDs. Tasks include bending, running, and installing EMT and rigid conduit, as well as assembling wireways, cable trays, and pulling large cables. All wiring is performed in accordance with the NEC and company standard work instructions.
Applicants must have at least a high‑school diploma or GED and one year of relevant manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic proficiency in English, mathematics, hand and power tools, and mechanical concepts is required, along with the ability to read a tape measure.
New hires will complete an eight‑week training program conducted on first‑shift and must pass written and hands‑on assessments covering the essential duties. The employee is expected to achieve established productivity rates within six months of hire.
The role involves frequent standing, lifting up to 50 lb, working on ladders, overhead, and in confined spaces. This description outlines essential functions and is not exhaustive of all possible tasks.
