Overview
Develop and manage GIS data, create maps, perform spatial analysis for infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Provide technical support, training, and guidance to team members on GIS tools and best practices. -Support field data collection efforts using GPS and mobile GIS technologies. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate GIS data with a variety of engineering or environmental datasets. -Perform spatial analyses to support planning and design activities for infrastructure and transportation projects. -Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases, applications, and spatial datasets. -Automate workflows and data processing using scripts or GIS tools (e.g., Python, ModelBuilder). -Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and client standards. -Create detailed maps, figures, and spatial visualizations for reports and presentations.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of data management, cartography, and spatial analysis principles. -Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise). -College diploma in Geographic Information Systems or a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. -Familiarity integrating GIS data and tools with other platforms including AutoCAD, InfoWater, HEC-RAS and other engineering modelling and design tools is an asset. -Experience with spatial databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS). -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, database management, and mapping.
