The core duties include overall project management, monitoring schedules and budgets, managing risks and opportunities, and overseeing logistics and material flow. You will coordinate with sub‑suppliers, internal teams, and the site crew to ensure installation, commissioning, and handover to the service team. Continuous interaction with internal and external stakeholders is required to deliver a complete solution to the client.
You will act as the process coordinator for TA design modifications, acquire techno‑commercial offers, validate technical proposals, and organize project resources based on competence. Regular reporting on scope, time, cost, and quality, as well as risk identification with mitigation actions, is essential. You will also drive customer negotiations, ensure compliance with quality documentation (ITP, ITR, ITI), and monitor hardware/software defects using the quality improvement tool.
The role involves optimizing project‑management processes, participating in internal audits, and supporting logistics for material packing, unpacking, and movement. You will oversee stage‑gate reviews, coordinate customer witness reports, and guarantee a smooth handover to the service team for warranty support. Adherence to Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values is mandatory.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) and have at least ten years of experience leading AC Control & Protection, SCADA, or sub‑station projects. Hands‑on knowledge of substation relay modules, testing methods, safety standards, and industrial products is required; HVDC experience is a plus. Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards, basic software simulation tools, and proficiency in Office applications are also expected.
