In essence, a BI Delivery Lead acts as a crucial link between the functional architects and the technical teams, ensuring that BI initiatives are effectively delivered and contribute to the organization's success.
Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of BI projects, often utilizing agile methodologies
Provides leadership, guidance, or support to temporary work teams, through advising and monitoring task completion without carrying line responsibility.
Manages the delivery of user-friendly analytics insights by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery, through active feedback from customers and stakeholders. and keeps up to date technologies preference criteria for exposing the data to business users
Coaches and guides Solution Architects on the best practices and latest technology developments to ensure their continuous professional growth.
Collaborates and provides guidance across ABB across various finance functions.
Identifying opportunities to improve BI processes, tools, and solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including design team, business users, IS teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any issues.
Defines BI Modelling guidelines and best practices. Guides on the building reporting solutions and dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization.
Sets the example for proactively building working relationships within the team, acting as an escalation point for staff and ensuring relationship challenges are addressed.
Engages with business leaders, consumers, and/or customers to understand changes to processes, products, services, software, and hardware to improve efficiencies and add value.
Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions

A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Having a strong understanding of BW/4Hanna, SAP SAC, S4/Hanna Finance data model and data warehousing principles
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Experience with cloud services (SAP Rise, AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of scaling analytics projects in cloud environments.
Master’s degree in computer science, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
Minimum 15 years of experience in a Functional architecture role on large SAP program.
Good understanding of financial end to end process such as Record to Report, FP&A, Order to Cash etc.
Knowledge of working with and using SAP/, BW/ BW/4Hana, SAC and SAP MDG is a must. Having exposure to non-SAP data analytics environment like Snowflake will be an advantage.
