Assist Compliance team members as they design and review the firm’s compliance processes, policies and procedures to ensure that the firm as appropriate internal controls.
Contribute to the Compliance team’s mandate of analyzing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures of the registered investment companies and the registered investment adviser with a primary focus on equity strategies.
The intern will stay abreast of new compliance updates from the industry regulators, including the SEC, allowing the team to remain compliant with evolving regulations.
The intern will assist with marketing reviews, where they will learn and apply different jurisdictional rules for marketing, ensuring materials meet the necessary regulatory standards.
Assist Compliance team members with testing, and related documentation, of compliance policies and procedures.
Assist Compliance team members with research related to securities law questions and projects.
Accompany Compliance team members as they participate in various firm working groups, such as GIPS, proxy voting and CSA/soft dollars.

Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Legal Studies or a similar related field
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior executives and external partners
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to independently manage workload and respond to shifting priorities
