The Contracts Manager will draft, review, and negotiate contracts for indirect procurement categories such as equipment, field services, engineering support, and technical consulting. They will develop contract templates and playbooks, support procurement and operations during sourcing, and manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, performance monitoring, and closeout. The role also involves identifying contractual risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, ESG commitments, insurance requirements, and legal regulations, and coordinating with legal, finance, insurance, and HSE teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for equipment, field services, engineering support, and technical consulting.
- Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks aligned with internal policies and risk standards.
- Support procurement and operations teams during sourcing to align commercial and legal terms.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities such as renewals, amendments, performance monitoring, and closeout documentation.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks including liabilities, indemnities, warranties, SLAs, and compliance gaps.
- Ensure contract compliance with ESG commitments, insurance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, insurance, and HSE teams to align contractual obligations and due diligence.
- Maintain centralized contract records using ERP or contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Dojo Suites).

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, supply chain, or a related field, with JD or paralegal certification considered a plus. They bring at least five years of contracts management experience, preferably within procurement or supply chain functions in the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors, and possess strong knowledge of contract law and procurement agreements. Proficiency with contract lifecycle management tools and ERP systems, exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective stakeholder communication are also required.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, supply chain, or related field; JD or paralegal certification a plus.
- 5+ years of contracts management experience, preferably in energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and service contracts.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements with suppliers and service providers.
- Familiarity with energy or power‑generation industry contracts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with contract lifecycle management tools and ERP systems (SAP, M3, Dojo Suites, i2B, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and stakeholder communication.
