- Monitor that all work performed by the contractor is done in a safe, environmentally sound manner and in accordance with approved design and specifications. Where there are issues take action and follow up on resolution to any NonConformances.
- Provide daily reporting detailing executed work, equipment, manpower, weather, significant events or unusual circumstances and delays at the site.
- Offer practical advice on the possible resolution for items of concern that may arise during the construction, equipment installation, and commissioning phases of the project.
- Support engineering design activities along with constructability of designs; and consult on hazard analysis and construction methods to support engineering design activities.
- Assist in the coordination of Contractors, Operations, and other project stakeholders throughout the course of the project.
- Support and comply with Stantec’s Project Management Ten Point Framework.
- Monitor and validate contractor progress.
- Ensure that all work permits are in place, complete with the necessary checklists and supporting data, and have been completed by trained and competent individuals.
- Attend progress meetings with Contractors, client and other stakeholders as required.
- Review redlines that are required to be completed by contractor for any changes to design.
