MRP Production Planner

Description

We’re now looking for a detail-driven MRP Production Planner to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling customer orders, optimizing production capabilities, and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Planning and scheduling customer orders to meet delivery targets
• Ensuring ISO9001 quality procedures are followed
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Purchasing, Production, Warehousing)
• Driving supply chain improvements and supporting new product introductions
• Supporting ERP system development and lean sigma projects
• Managing the Master Production Schedule and capacity planning
• Maintaining accurate BOMs, BOOs, and part data for finished goods
• Contribute to exciting ERP and lean transformation projects

Requirements

• Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
• High computer literacy and strong written/verbal communication
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, preferred not essential
• Ideally Level 3+ qualifications (A Levels or equivalent)
• Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic preferred)
• Knowledge of worktop production
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• 3+ years in engineering or manufacturing supply chain planning function
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
• Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, team-oriented approach
