Stores Operative

Description

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
• Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if applicable).
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

ABM is seeking a diligent and organised Stores Operative. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring efficient store operations, and supporting the broader supply‑chain process.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (preferred).
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
