Client facing and assist in establishing a client's requirements, undertaking feasibility studies and maintain ongoing client communication to resolve issues expeditiously;
Review financing agreements / understanding of funding arrangements;
Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors including mentoring of junior employees;
Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site;
Providing detailed and accurate cost advice to clients including preparing of cash flows, pricing of estimates, cost plans, measuring quantities for variations and BOQ's;
Assist in VM preparation, Attend design team meetings;
Amend / update / reconcile Cost Reports and undertake cost analysis and writing of monthly reports;

Ability to meet and manage clients and other professional consultants;
Minimum 5 year's Quantity Surveying experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to use appropriate software and technology e.g. MS Office; Buildsoft and Cost X
Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
Technically proficient at all aspects of pre and post contract QS services and completion of complex trade and elemental take-off;
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Membership in an approved Professional Body- preferred (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB);
Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.
