Lead a high‑performing team delivering capital works, maintenance and fault response across Ausgrid’s network. This is a permanent full‑time role offering a salary of $200,819 plus super, up to a 10% bonus and a monthly day off. The position is based at Muswellbrook and Singleton depots with flexible hybrid work options.
As a Portfolio Manager you will shape operational plans, drive technical excellence, champion safety and inspire a high‑performing team through leadership and coaching.
- Oversee safe, efficient delivery of maintenance, fault response, and capital works.
- Optimise resources and manage projects to meet timeframes and budgets.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement across operations.
- Engage with stakeholders and communities to build trust and resolve challenges.

- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Current Electrical Safety Rules accreditation and Class C driver’s licence.
- Proven leadership experience managing complex workgroups and cultivating a productive team culture.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Ability to manage contracts and service providers.
- Proficiency in reading and preparing electrical system diagrams, schematics, and technical sketches.
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office and relevant systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
- High attention to detail, discretion and ability to handle sensitive matters.
