The Project Scheduler / Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enabling seamless execution of US-based EPC and ECM (Energy Conservation Measures) projects. This includes solar PV installations, HVAC retrofits, water/wastewater systems, and CHP solutions under the Sunsprint Engineering umbrella. The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, tracking, and reporting detailed project schedules, and ensuring efficient cross-border coordination between India-based teams and US stakeholders.

  • Facilitate seamless communication and schedule alignment between India-based engineering/design teams and US-based execution teams (Metco, field teams, clients).
  • Organize and lead weekly/monthly status review meetings, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to align scheduling and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with document retention policies and audit requirements for public sector projects.
  • Maintain logs for changes, schedule variances, rebaselining activities, and reasons for delays.
  • Evaluate subcontractor work plans and resource utilization charts.
  • Track project KPIs including delivery timelines, milestone completions, and delay drivers.
  • Define project milestones, dependencies, critical path, and float across engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare progress dashboards, earned value reports, and S-curve analytics for leadership review.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to monitor progress and resolve execution gaps.
  • Maintain document version control for schedule files, reports, and risk registers.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Document meeting minutes (MOMs), task trackers, and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and integrate cost/resource planning where applicable.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers, Procurement, Energy Analysts, and Compliance teams to maintain synchronized workflows.
  • Generate baseline, look-ahead, and revised schedules as projects evolve.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on scheduling expertise, familiarity with energy/infrastructure project workflows, and a collaborative mindset for working across disciplines and time zones.

Technical Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong Excel and data visualization/reporting skills.
  • 3–7 years of experience in project coordination/scheduling roles in infrastructure, solar, or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), productivity tracking, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Tilos for linear scheduling (especially in infrastructure projects).
  • Experience working with ERP/Project Management platforms (e.g., SAP PS, Oracle Unifier, Procore).
  • Certification in PMP, PMI-SP, or PRINCE2 (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent for drawing review and markups.
  • Understanding of construction and installation workflows for electrical/mechanical systems (relevant for solar or MEP-heavy projects).
