The Project Manager leads field execution of assigned federal construction projects through the Acquire‑Comply‑Execute lifecycle, overseeing safety, quality, cost, schedule, and compliance performance. Responsibilities include forming Integrated Project Teams, conducting stage‑gate reviews, managing budgets and schedules with tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, and maintaining auditable documentation in the QGS OPS Platform. The role also requires active stakeholder management with federal agencies, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, as well as reporting key metrics to Program Management.
Candidates must have at least seven years of experience managing federal construction projects of $5 million or more, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and obtain a PMP certification within twelve months of hire. Required certifications include OSHA 30, and preferred credentials include USACE/NAVFAC QC Manager, PgMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma. Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA, NIST 800‑171, ISO 9001, and proficiency with project‑management software are essential, along with the ability to obtain a federal security clearance and travel up to 35% of the time.
