Contribute to the design and support of rock and soil tunnels using numerical and empirical methods.
Support the development and implementation of geotechnical subsurface exploration plans.
Assist in the design of tunnels, earth retention systems, rock and soil slopes, and deep foundations.
Interpret geology, geotechnical, and hydrologic conditions to understand their impact on design and construction.
Supervise drill crews on routine projects and conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) with guidance.
Aid in the preparation of proposals and assimilation of geotechnical reports.
Help prepare geotechnical data reports, interpretive reports, baseline reports, and design reports.

Knowledge in Geotechnical Data Reports (GDR).
Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D and ITASCA software (FLAC 2D and UDEC).
Experience in rock and soil logging, rock tunnel mapping, and subsurface investigations.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
