Field Services Engineer

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to our BESS installations
• Responsible for extracting product improvement suggestions from problems that may occure and continuously improving our product competitiveness.
• Document service activities, incident reports, and system performance metrics using digital tools.
• Document service activities, incident reports, and system performance metrics using digital tools and lead the development of after-sales service tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify field issues, suggest improvements, and implement software/firmware updates.
• Assist and coordinate the commissioning & Start-Up of BESS units on customer sites in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Responsible for after-sales AC ability training, supplier communication, data collection, standard output and other related work in AC capacity building.

We are currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) on UK and Scandinavia

• Technical degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent vocational qualification) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Mechatronics, or respective working experience in the field. (high voltage certificate)
• Strong understanding of battery systems, inverters, power electronics, and control systems
• Business fluent in English and/or Chinese are considered a big plus
• PCS or DC system experience is preferred
• Willingness to travel across UK (and occasionally Europe) – up to 70% travel
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in field service or commissioning, preferably within renewable energy, power systems, or industrial automation
• Valid driver’s license and UK work authorization
