A national interdisciplinary design firm specializing in architecture and engineering for diverse markets.
In the role, you will collaborate with team members on project work, assisting designers with space planning, interior detailing, 3D modeling, material research, and creating presentation materials and boards, as well as maintaining the resource library.
Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Interior Design or a related field, preferably CIDA‑accredited, and have prior internship or leadership experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, 3D modeling software, and Adobe Creative Suite is required, and applicants must be able to commute to an HGA office at least twice weekly.
To apply, submit a PDF resume outlining your degree program, expected graduation date, and GPA, along with 2–3 work samples (max 6 pages) demonstrating design process and solutions, clearly indicating your role on any group projects.
We offer a paid summer internship for students to gain hands‑on experience in an architectural, engineering, or interior design setting. The program typically lasts 10‑12 weeks, beginning on or before June 1, 2026 and running through mid‑August, with flexibility based on academic schedules.
The compensation aligns with office geography and is based on experience, education, and skill level. Employees working over 24 hours per week are eligible for HGA’s benefit programs, including bonuses, a 401(k) match, paid parental leave, medical, dental, and life insurance, PTO, and disability coverage.
