The Supplier Quality Engineer will support the Corinth, MS facility in the Remanufacturing Division. This role assesses supplier quality to ensure all products are defect‑free and comply with manufacturing specifications and legal standards.
- Conduct tests and assessments on incoming supplies to identify quality issues.
- Develop supplier inspection, testing, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Generate reports on supplier quality, monitor defect rates, and recommend improvements.
- Guide suppliers to reduce defect rates.
- Research potential vendors and assess their manufacturing environment and practices.
- Perform supplier quality control audits for compliance with policies and standards.
- Support suppliers in performance improvement via process enhancements and quality assurance plans.
- Conduct quality reviews and internal audits, evaluate data, and write deviation reports.

A degree or equivalent experience is desired. The position requires strong communication, problem‑solving, process‑improvement, and quality‑orientation skills, as well as knowledge of PPAP, manufacturing standards, supplier management, and project management.
