- Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients
- Perform field work for land surveying scopes including construction staking, boundary location, ALTA, and topography
- Organize field staking materials as necessary
- Operate GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors
- Transfer files between data collectors and internal project folders
- Communicate project status, daily progress, and issues to office teams
- Maintain productive working relationships with clients and coworkers
- Adhere to company Safety, Quality Management, and Equipment Maintenance policies
- Ensure division, regional, and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service
- Remain mobile on construction sites and field assignments
- Carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural, or urban settings
- Work outdoors in varying weather, insects, and changing environments
- Lead, train, and mentor a survey crew
- Operate total stations and GPS in static and RTK modes for control networks, boundaries, ALTA, topography, and construction staking
- Perform tasks and solve problems independently
- Coordinate activities with office personnel, surveying technicians, and engineering staff
