Tasks

-Design foundations (shallow, deep, pile, raft), ground improvement techniques, and slope stabilization measures. -Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical design specifications. -Perform risk assessments for geotechnical hazards such as liquefaction, landslides, or settlement. -Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide technical support during design and construction. -Analyze soil and rock properties to determine the suitability for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, tunnels, and earthworks. -Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings. -Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs. -Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations. -Utilize software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, STAAD, AutoCAD, and MS Project for analysis and reporting. -Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, borehole drilling, and laboratory testing.

What You Bring

-Project management and client coordination experience. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. -Knowledge of site investigation planning and instrumentation monitoring. -7–10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical and civil engineering roles. -Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills -Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques. -Experience with underground metro, tunneling, or infrastructure projects. -Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM standards, and international geotechnical practices.
