Facilities Professional

Description

In this role you will collaborate with operational leaders to ensure the workplace remains efficient, comfortable, and functional. You will oversee building operations, support space planning initiatives, and facilitate real‑estate and lease activities that align with the company's growth strategy.

• Communicate lease status, facility needs, and project updates to operational leaders.
• Identify and evaluate potential properties to support strategic real‑estate decisions.
• Review leases, agreements, and financial models with Legal and the Facilities Manager.
• Build and manage vendor relationships, oversee services, and review invoices.
• Process service tickets, coordinate office moves, maintain documentation, and travel for on‑site projects.
• Update building layouts, conduct space planning, and manage project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Supply mentorship, tuition reimbursement, and credential incentive programs.
• Provide a company vehicle and fuel card for project‑based roles.

Requirements

S&ME seeks a detail‑oriented and highly organized individual who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, can juggle multiple priorities, and possesses a solid understanding of construction, building systems, and facility‑management tools. A proactive, safety‑focused mindset and the ability to adapt quickly are essential.

• Hold a high school diploma; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Possess at least 6 years of experience in facilities, real estate, property, or construction management.
• Experience with CAD or BIM software for space planning is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand lease agreements, property evaluation, and compliance standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; able to travel moderately and lift 40‑50 lb.
