Maintenance and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
Support the Finance Manager and the management team by providing cost analysis.
Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit preparation
Assistance in the preparation of the regions 5 year plan
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations and controls
Analyse variances to budget, forecast and prior periods and provide accurate and concise commentaries.
Support the Finance team's growth and aim to maximise efficiencies by reviewing and updating reports and processes
Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and forecasts, Balance Sheet reconciliations, VAT Returns, Trading Accounts.
Work closely with the Finance Manager and management team to help produce the annual budget.

Well organised with strong mathematical skills and high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel
Part qualified and actively working towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Ability to demonstrate a professional approach to the working environment, possess commercial awareness, and strong communication skills
Good organizational and time management skills.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience within the housebuilding sector would also be an advantage but is not essential
Previous experience of working in a finance role
