Coordinate the testing and inspection activities of any independent testing and inspection agencies to ensure that all necessary testing and inspections are properly and consistently performed.
Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment.
Testing welders on-site for qualification & Continuity Management.
May assist with producing reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends.
Reference ASME codes for compliance
Inspection of bolt up joints for proper gaskets and correct bolt up.
Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.
Participate in the development of specifications to ensure quality control.
Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures.
Obtaining the proper sign offs from the client
Documentation of leak testing
Inspection of completed welds
Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Confer with other departments as needed to define client requirements and expectations.
Identify, document, track, and ensure the repair or replacement of all non-conforming work in their designated areas of responsibility.
Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
Participate in all applicable inspections and tests. Also perform follow-up inspections and examinations as necessary to ensure continued compliance with the requirements of the contract documents.
