What you would be doing

  • Records and reports any deficiencies in quality to the supervisor/quality department.
  • Assists maintenance in repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintains equipment tooling and tools necessary for job completion.
  • Completes reports related to production, changeovers, and scrap material.
  • Inspects materials for quality issues before, during, and after production.
  • Performs housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Leads and promotes health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
  • Diagnoses equipment and quality problems while minimizing scrap and delays.
  • Participates in continuous improvement programs.
  • Observes all safety and LOTO rules to operate equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Performs advanced setup and calibration of all equipment.

  • Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
  • Ability to operate forklift, crane, and other necessary equipment.
  • Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for several hours.
  • Experience with measuring devices such as tape measure, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is required.
  • Requires constant movement, manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
  • Manufacturing or related industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, decimals, and fractions.
  • Must be able to stand for 10–12 hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read and write and maintain production records and logs.
