Tasks

-Assist with various special projects and other administrative items -Provide updates on tax legislative changes -Prepare other nonincome tax filings -Accumulate, analyze and process financial accounting data to prepare tax returns, tax return workpapers, estimated tax payments and tax provision workpapers -Research and analyze tax laws, planning strategies and other tax issues -Assist with federal and state income tax audits including the preparation of responses to audit inquiries and notices -Organize and maintain records of EFTP's -Update job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities and reading professional publications -Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company -Work with divisions and other departments to distribute and gather documentation for tax return filings -Perform detail review of general ledger accounts
