Reducing and summarizing geohydrologic and geotechnical data and preparing plans for inclusion in interpretive reports for clients
Performing outdoor, allseason, onsite geotechnical and geological investigations as well as geotechnical related construction monitoring field tasks such as construction progress, condition verification, and instrumentation monitoring
Performing Quality Control (QC) on field borehole logs completed by coworkers (including the Q system and the RMR system, as requested) for collected soil and rock core samples
Preparing detailed field reports and geotechnical and geologic reports
Documenting and preparing internal reports on the geotechnical and geologic aspects of construction projects.
Conducting subsurface geotechnical and geologic investigations in connection with dams, tunnels, mining, building, infrastructure, and other development projects
Builds and maintains productive professional and personal networking relationships within their technical team, Business Center, and region
Performing field geologic explorations including soil and bedrock mapping
Performing field hydraulic conductivity and infiltration testing and evaluations
Providing geotechnical monitoring and using instrumentation to record vibrations, settlements, slope movements, water levels, and other critical geotechnical engineering data.

Applies logic and technical capabilities to resolve technical issues in an effective manner.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience; or an equivalent combination of education (e.g. advanced degree) and experience.
Basic understanding of technical writing skills
Working understanding of policies and procedures for HSSE, including clientspecific training (as required), and demonstrates use and understanding of these policies and procedures as appropriate to their work. (OSHA 10, OSHA 30, MSHA 24 preferable)
Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, or related field. Licensed Professional Engineer/Geologist.
A willingness to travel is required.
P.G. or P.E Registration is required, PG preferred
The successful candidate will demonstrate a diverse skill set in multiple geological/engineering subdisciplines.
Demonstrates ability to build relationships with key clients with respect to their technical area and the broader business objectives of the Business Center.
