Apply standardization and resolve conflicts in raw layer data (cleansing).
Use Fivetran/HVR to create data connections from source systems to Snowflake.
Create curated, highly consumable data products that fulfill business needs.
Use DBT to move data through a medallion architecture in Snowflake.
Ensure quality of data pipelines via analysis and unit tests (standardization, completeness, grain, redundancy, etc).
Set development standards and lead code reviews.
Research technologies to improve processes.
Mentor other team members to develop their skills and abilities.

Experience and/or knowledge of CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) practices using GitHub or Azure repos.
Related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
A minimum of five (5) years of in-depth work experience in data warehousing or data engineering.
Experience with BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.
A minimum of five (5) years of in-depth work experience.
Familiarity with data engineering and workflow management frameworks such as DBT.
Expertise in ETL and data analysis with experience in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
