  • Awareness of Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to analyse complex data, draw conclusions, produce reports and make recommendations to senior management
  • Experience of managing the technical aspects of projects in a mechanical design environment.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Safety Risk Management Principles
  • Experience in Computer Aided Design and knowledge of drawing Standard BS 8888
  • Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent IMechE accredited degree such as Automotive Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering. A HNC qualification in a mechanical biased discipline will also be considered.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships with people at all levels across the organisation and externally
  • Proven record of investigating failures and developing cost effective solutions
