Principal Hydrogeologist

Description

As a subject‑matter expert, the successful candidate will guide remote monitoring initiatives, create innovative technical solutions, and mentor staff during implementation. They will also work with market sector and account leaders to expand business opportunities and contribute to regional strategic initiatives.

• Serve as subject‑matter expert for remote environmental monitoring implementation.
• Develop innovative technical solutions and guide staff during deployment.
• Collaborate with market sector and account leaders to grow business and secure new projects.
• Create scope and cost proposals for projects and task orders.
• Support strategic growth and planning of regional market initiatives.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level staff in hydrologic modeling and conceptual site model development.
• Conduct field assignments and train field staff on instrumentation installation (up to 25% travel).

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a closely related field and bring at least 15 years of relevant experience. A professional geologist (PG) license in good standing is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $122,478 to $208,212, varying by experience, education, and other factors.
