What you would be doing

- Remove / install aircraft components as required
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures
- Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed
- Assist with aircraft component repair
- Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures
- Perform work in a safe and timely manner
- Operate ground support equipment as required
- Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
- Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached
- Participate in 5-S activities
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
- Assist with towing aircraft as needed
- Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft
- Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed

- You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
- You have an A Certification, A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate (preferred)
- You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
- You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools
- You have basic PC skills
- You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
- You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
- Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records. Additionally, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening will be carried out to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safety-sensitive positions
- You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- You have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience of structural sheet metal & repair / modification or substantiated similar experience
