  • Engage in budgeting, estimating, forecasting, accounting, and work order management to support engineering projects.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for project activities in Operations, Maintenance, Testing/Diagnostics, and Regulatory areas.
  • Support the development of technical documentation including designs, testing protocols, calculations, reports, and standards.

This role involves the design, modeling, development, and testing of machines, structures, or systems, with a focus on gas turbine-based power plants. The successful candidate will develop functional requirements and apply standard engineering principles to create simulations and prototypes that evaluate preliminary designs. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, controlling process efficiency, and investigating root causes of failures to recommend improvements. Acting as both project engineer and manager, this position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Assist in bid/evaluation processes by performing basic analysis and calculations on existing documentation to support bid preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers/vendors regarding complex matters.
  • Mentor and guide interns, drafters, technicians, and less experienced engineers while coordinating their work.
  • Utilize technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques for limited scope activities and assignments.
  • Coordinate and lead projects or portions of projects under the direction of a higher-level engineer or supervisor.
