- Undertake check function for design calculations performed by other engineering colleagues.
- Assist in the management of the tender process, understand and interpret scope of works, provide advice and opinion

- Degree level education or equivalent with formal training in civil engineering and/or geotechnical engineering.
- Reinforced Concrete design and detailing compliant to required Client & national technical standards (BS/Eurocodes/ENA)
- Proven experience of the design of civil engineering works
- Chartered Engineer preferred with either the ICE, CGeol or IStructE
- Strong, proven post-graduate experience in the civil engineering industry
- Strong, proven experience of the management of design of civil or geotechnical engineering works
- Experience of the supervision of sub-consultants or subcontractors
- Experience in the design and checking of temporary works for civil engineering projects
- Experience of drainage design and water management
- Experience of substation structural components
- IT Literate (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CAD)
- Smart working, giving you more flexibility such as staggered start and finish times, with up to 40% remote working, where roles allow.
