The position requires preparing and revising technical drawings, layouts, and as‑built documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD, interpreting engineer design inputs, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and AECOM quality standards.
Additional duties include tracking existing sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai, conducting site surveys, coordinating with inspectors and engineers, updating redline markups, maintaining an organized archive of drawings, reviewing contractor submissions, and providing drafting support throughout construction.
- Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as‑built documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
- Interpret engineer design inputs and translate them into detailed construction drawings.
- Review and update drawings to meet project specifications, authority requirements, and AECOM quality standards.
- Track existing sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as‑built records.
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to verify construction progress.
- Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and document control teams for timely drawing submission and approval.
- Create redline markups, section details, pipeline profiles, and micro‑tunneling shaft layouts from field data.
- Maintain an organized archive and digital record system for all project drawings and revisions.
- Review contractor as‑built and shop drawing submissions for compliance with site conditions.
- Provide drafting support during construction to reflect approved changes and actual execution.
- Prepare utility coordination drawings to ensure accuracy across multiple services and avoid conflicts.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to AECOM and authority CAD standards, including layering, scaling, and title block consistency.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field, possess at least six years of relevant experience, and have a minimum of ten years in BIM and GIS roles. Proficiency in BIM platforms such as Autodesk Civil 3D, MAP, Bentley MicroStation, Infraworks, and GIS tools like Esri ArcGIS and QGIS is essential, along with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics, or related discipline.
- Possess at least six years of relevant experience and a minimum of ten years in BIM and GIS roles.
- Demonstrate mastery of BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, Bentley MicroStation, and Infraworks.
- Exhibit strong GIS capabilities with tools like Esri ArcGIS and QGIS, plus experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
