The Yard Loader Operator will safely operate yard loaders to move and load materials, inspect and maintain equipment, and monitor inventory and stockpile levels. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations while collaborating with team members to keep yard operations smooth.
Successful candidates must be able to operate heavy equipment safely, have strong awareness of safety standards, and work both independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and a commitment to equipment maintenance and prompt reporting are essential.
Employment is contingent on a pre‑employment physical exam, drug/alcohol screening, background check, and, for some positions, ongoing FMCSA‑regulated testing. The work environment involves moving mechanical equipment in inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and high noise levels.
Compensation ranges from $21.10 to $29.00 per hour, and the benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with company contributions and matching, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, HSA/HRA/FSA options, disability and life insurance, paid bonding leave, vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
