Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and present technical solutions clearly and confidently.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the industrial or HVAC industry, with a strong focus on industrial equipment and solutions.
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years).
Self-motivated: Strong drive, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving.
Prospective candidate needs to be able to obtain plant entry credentials such as DISA, Safety Council, etc.
The ideal candidate has hands-on operational experience in an industrial setting, specializing in mechanical (machinery, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, or mechanical systems), instrumentation (sensors, control systems, process automation, or instrumentation devices), or electrical (power distribution, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, or electrical maintenance) roles.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their applications in industrial and petrochemical environments, ensuring clients receive tailored, optimal solutions.
Must work well in a team environment (externally with customers and internally with teams and co-workers)
Experience in the petrochemical sector is a plus.
Ability to create and facilitate presentations to medium size audience/group
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industrial and petrochemical markets, including the unique needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements of these sectors.
Frequent local travel requirements with some overnight travel.
