The Production Programmer creates nesting programs for hardware and shells, enters them into the ERP system, works with production control to schedule shop work, and verifies and stages raw materials and consumables for each job.

Create nesting programs for hardware, shells, and other components in plate and coil
Enter nesting programs into ERP software for production use
Collaborate with production control to manage shop scheduling
Verify and stage raw materials and consumables for job‑specific production

Demonstrate ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Proficient in ProNest, Alma Cam, or similar CNC part nesting software
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and procedures
Experience with steel burn/laser tables
Experience in production tracking and production planning
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D‑365)
