What you would be doing

  • Develop a familiarity with the associated Dematic automation software programs.
  • Review data and identify trends that can help increase efficiencies and/or improve processes.
  • Escalate issues regarding staffing, inventory, automation, etc. to the appropriate shift supervisor.
  • Work wiith inventory control to address inventory discrepancies and to ensure that the automation system has appropriate inventory levels.
  • Process orders using the Dematic Goods To Person (GTP) system
  • Monitor the software system and quickly address any potential issues.
  • Assist the on-site automation mechanics with troubleshooting and addressing basic faults.
  • Automation lead of 2nd shift warehouse associates reporting to the 2nd shift Dematic Supervisor.
  • Monitor current order volume and ensure that the team is staffed to accurately fulfill all orders for the evening.
  • Track and replenish supplies to ensure that all materials are available for the shift.
  • Oversee operator task assignments

  • The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift, which is typically 8-9 hours.

  • Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
