Manage design schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Ensure designs meet project specifications, codes, and standards (NEC, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.).
Review and approve design documents prepared by team members.
Provide guidance on control systems architecture, PLC/DCS interfaces, and field instrumentation selection.
Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement in design workflows and standards.
Ensure proper grounding, lighting, and power distribution design for facilities.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems.
Support procurement by preparing material take-offs, specifications, and vendor data reviews.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Develop and maintain instrument indexes, cable schedules, and loop diagrams.
Mentor and train junior designers and drafters, fostering technical growth and accountability.
Promote best practices in CAD tools.
Lead the preparation of electrical and instrumentation design packages including drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
Support construction and commissioning teams with design clarifications and field changes.

Advanced technical design and problem-solving.
Experience in EPC projects, industrial facilities, or oil & gas/petrochemical sectors is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (NEC, IEC, ISA, IEEE).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
10+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in CAD software and design tools (AutoCAD, CADWorx, Elecdes Design Suite).
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
